Evil Katey/Good Katey |
KV Taylor writes things. They're scary and sometimes pretty and always f#@ked. KVTaylor.com works, too. Her not-so-secret superhero/pr0n star identity is Katey Hawthorne. She also writes things, but they involve lots of superpowers and sex. Er, romance. Right, that. KateyHawthorne.com FTW. |

Satisfaction Guaranteed — Retail. Food service*. Call centers. Tech support. Delivery. Cleaning services. Taxi driving. Not every job is glamorous and well-paying. Nothing is more grating than getting screamed at, cussed at, spilled on, and talked down to while doing a miserable job just to get the bills paid.
Less Than Three Press is seeking LGBTQ stories about the people working minimum wage hell, exhausting themselves to guarantee satisfaction and make ends meet, always looking for a chance at happiness and satisfaction of their own.
* The editor requests that authors consider food service employment outside of bartenders/baristas as these are commonly explored themes in many contemporary ebooks.

Stories should be complete before submitting, and as edited as possible. M/M Robin Hood is probably all I need to say to make peeps happy. This book is fucking awesome. It’s well established I <3 Kay Berrisford and every book just makes me love her more (she is also just plain fun to chat with). My fav part of this book is that this takes place after Robin Hood’s heyday, when he’s alone and trying (failing) to move on and such. His love interest is a woobie, and they’re ridiculously cute when they’re not being hilariously stupid :3 An excellent addition to the Greenwood books ^__^ Read them all if you have not, but if you only want this one you should be fine (though Herne is more awesome if you’ve read that story already).
Speaking of writers I love to death :3 Katey never disappoints either, and she’s got some of the coolest superpower books on the block. Add that in with angst, deceit, and further shenanigans and I adoooore this book. This one was cool because it’s law enforcement versus vigilantes, and two men with a complicated history. Interesting to see so well laid out where both are wrong, both are right. Cool to see two guys that are far from perfect, do horrible things to each other, but still manage to be together. If you haven’t read this series, definitely do.
And now I am off to write about vampires ;3 Everybody have a good weekend!
*BLUSHING OMG* ♥
When a theft goes wrong and Jared finds himself under arrest, his daring escape results in an extra passenger. Richard Kuiper the Seventh does not appreciate being magnetically handcuffed to a common criminal, even if he does enjoy the chance to indulge his sexual appetites guilt free.
Hiding out with some old friends of Jared’s while they attempt to unlock the handcuffs, a bond grows between the two men that’s more than magnetic, but Jared’s initial mistrust comes back to haunt him. When the cuffs are removed Richard storms off, straight into a trap, and now Jared must decide what he’s willing to risk for a man he’s barely known for a week: his life, certainly, but his heart? He’s never risked that before.(via Loose Id)
